How we rank results

Ranking on BM Discounter is objective and inspectable. This page describes exactly how results are ordered and what sponsoring can and cannot influence.

Organic ranking

Search and category results are ordered by objective criteria: how well a product matches your query and filters, and — when you sort by price — the listed prices of the public offers. Payment plays no role in organic ranking.

How “cheapest” is determined

The cheapest label reflects the lowest listed price among the public, fixed-price offers we compare for that product at that moment. Quote-required offers carry no fixed public price and are excluded from price rankings and price ranges.

What sponsoring can do

A supplier can pay for a clearly labelled sponsored placement — a separate, marked slot. Sponsoring never changes product specifications, never changes the organic order, and never awards a quality label.

Data freshness

Prices and availability come from public supplier information and are refreshed periodically, not live. The moment of last update is shown where available; the supplier's own webshop is always the final word.
